Immersion Trip Guanajuato 2025

LIABILITY WAIVER AND RELEASE AGREEMENT

By proceeding with payment, you (“Participant”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this Liability Waiver and Release Agreement (“Agreement”) in relation to the Immersion Trip to Guanajuato, Mexico, organized by Andrea La Mexicana (“Organizer”).

This Agreement applies to both of the available trip options:

WEEK 1 – October 5 to 12, 2025 and WEEK 2 – September 28 to October 5, 2025.

Your payment serves as confirmation of your acceptance of all terms and conditions below.

1. Assumption of Risk

You understand that traveling to and within Mexico involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to accidents, illnesses, theft, acts of nature, political instability, and other unforeseen circumstances. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with this trip.

2. Release of Liability

You, on behalf of yourself, your heirs, executors, and assigns, release and discharge the Organizer, its affiliates, employees, agents, and any associated entities from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from or related to your participation in this trip, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, property damage, or financial loss.

3. Medical Treatment

You acknowledge that the Organizer is not responsible for providing medical care during the trip. You agree to be responsible for any medical expenses incurred and authorize the Organizer to seek emergency medical treatment on your behalf if necessary.

4. Travel Insurance (Required)

You agree to purchase travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellations, lost belongings, and other potential risks. Proof of insurance must be submitted to the Organizer prior to the trip.

5. Compliance with Laws and Conduct

You agree to respect and follow all Mexican laws and regulations and to conduct yourself responsibly at all times. The Organizer is not responsible for any legal consequences resulting from your actions.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organizer from any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from your actions, negligence, or failure to comply with this Agreement.

7. What’s Included in the Program

  • 7 nights of accommodation at Hotel Posada Santa Fe

  • Daily breakfasts and traditional Mexican lunches

  • One special group dinner

  • Round-trip transportation from/to Guanajuato bus terminal or Bajío International Airport (BJX) and take you back at the end of the trip. All transportation for scheduled activities is also included.

  • Daily Spanish classes and immersive cultural activities

  • Excursions, museum visits, and all scheduled group experiences

  • All learning materials

  • Full support from Andrea and her team throughout the week

8. What’s Not Included

  • Flights or bus tickets (you are responsible for booking and purchasing your own flight to BJX)

  • Travel insurance (required but not provided by the Organizer)

  • Visas and passports

  • Alcoholic beverages and tips

  • Dinners not listed above or additional meals

  • Personal expenses, shopping, or optional activities outside the itinerary

  • Transportation during free time

9. Cancellation Policy

By proceeding with payment, you agree to the cancellation terms outlined below:

WEEK 1:

Green Tier (April 5 – June 4): Full refund minus 4% processing fees
Yellow Tier (June 5 – August 4): 50% refund minus 4% processing fees
Red Tier (After August 4): No refund

WEEK 2:

Green Tier (April 12 – June 27): Full refund minus 4% processing fees
Yellow Tier (June 28 – July 27): 50% refund minus 4% processing fees
Red Tier (After July 27): No refund

Please review these dates carefully before confirming your participation.

10. Media Release

The Participant grants permission for photographs and video taken during the trip to be used by the Organizer for promotional and educational purposes, unless otherwise stated in writing before the start of the program.

11. Group Participation and Respect

This is a group experience. Participants are expected to engage respectfully, contribute to a positive and inclusive environment, and honor the cultural values of Mexico and the other members of the group. Any form of aggression, harassment, or disrespectful behavior toward another participant or team member will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the program without refund.

12. Severability

If any part of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain fully valid and in effect.

13. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Mexico. Any disputes arising from or related to this trip shall be resolved in Mexican jurisdiction.

By completing your payment, you agree to all the terms above and confirm your participation in this program under these conditions.
